Explore the research, practice and ideas that exist with the post-16 sector
Date: Monday 26 June 2017, Time: 10.00am - 4.00pm, Venue: Bedford College, Cauldwell Street, Bedford MK42 9AH
Research, experience, practice: have you got a great idea?
What is the event?
ATL is supporting a one day ‘researchmeet’ at Bedford College on 26th June.
The event is to explore the research, practice and ideas that exist with the sector. We aim give a platform to ideas to those working in FE who may struggle to get their ideas heard elsewhere. This event will be a unique event that addresses the priorities and innovations of practitioners, rather than leaders and policy makers.
Who is it for?
All presentations are from practitioners working in an FE or work based learning environment (WBE).
What is the format?
There are 6 workshop slots on offer and we are looking for 6 individuals or groups from within FE or a WBE to run a session, as well as enthusiastic participants.
If you would like to run a workshop we would like you to:
- Summarise your research, innovation, or experience of ‘what works’ in your context.
- Be willing to give a 5 minute pitch for your workshop, presented to all conference delegates
- Run a 1 ½ hour workshop on exploring/developing/testing your research, innovation or experience.
(The ATL we are happy to support members who want to travel to give a workshop at the event.)
