Accountancy Higher Apprenticeship Level 4

You will learn the accounting principles, experience accounting software and gain an insight into accounting business environments. You must be employed full-time in a related job role before applying for this Apprenticeship.

Entry requirements

You must be employed full-time in a job role relating to your course. We recommend a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C or above including English and Maths. You will also need a Level 3 AAT qualification.

Accounting technicians are skilled staff employed in jobs ranging from clerks to accounts department managers. They are increasingly required in industry and commerce, so if you have AAT qualifications at any level your prospects will be extremely good.

Additional information

These professional examinations require a high standard of preparation and considerable commitment if success is to be achieved. You will need to buy set books and join the AAT.
