Marketing: An Introduction
This course will develop your skills and knowledge if you are working to support others in basic marketing tasks or have an interest in finding out more about marketing. The course will be suitable for customer service/call centre employees, event management, junior marketing or administration assistants, those who want to work in marketing or those running a small business.
You do not need any qualifications to start but you must have a good standard of literacy.
The course has two elements looking at the fundamentals of marketing and introducing the concepts of customer relationships.
Your understanding will be assessed throughout the course and you will receive a College certificate upon completion.
Further study and career options
Progression opportunities are available onto the Chartered Institute of Marketing Professional Certificate in Marketing level 4. Other opportunities are also available such as HND in Business.
You will be expected to commit yourself to research and carry out some additional study outside College.
