Further study and career options
Last year we visited the Monarch training facility at Luton Airport where students took part in arming and disarming doors, emergency procedures, evacuating a smoke filled cabin - and of course going down the emergency slide.
As the qualifications are backed by Monarch, Thomas Cook and BMI, students can apply for interview with these or other airlines. Some students may also want to study travel and tourism further and take up a full time qualification.
A genuine interest in cabin crew is essential for this course. You must be willing to participate and work as part of a team and independently. Smart dress is essential. There will be a trip fee cost of around £100 which must be paid on enrolment (Direct Debit optional).
This course could be FREE! You could be eligible for free study if you are unemployed and on a qualifying benefit. Find out more at www.bedford.ac.uk/concessions
